Dipper

While choosy about the activities he enjoys, Once he sets his mind to master a job it’s as good as done.

Dipper had his sports debut with Agility. While we never got the chance to trial in Ontario, he picked up agility like nobody’s business. We hope with our agility program we will be able to get enough practice in to get him trial-ready by Summer 2024!

Second to agility, Dipper’s second favourite sport is much lower impact. Scent Detection is a fantastically addictive sport for both dogs and their handlers. Less than a year into his scent career, Dipper is already over halfway to his Level 1 C-Wags title!

While we haven’t had a chance to professionally pursue Dock Diving, Dipper is all for anything to do with water! We hope to take on this sport over the Summer of 2024

When we first moved to BC, the first sport we were exposed to was Disc. The diversity of games through UpDog and the fantastic accessibility makes Disc a great addition to any team’s repertoire. While Disc didn’t start as Dipper’s favourite, it’s climbing the ranks.

Dipper’s primary Job (his favourite) is his service dog work. While it may look like he just gets to go everywhere with Dad, he serves a very important function as Dad’s primary support both out and about and at home.

Nyx

Meet Nyx, the newest addition to our pack, who swiftly transitioned from foster to family member. Joining our family in early April, he immediately found his place in our sport-loving home, filling a void we didn't know existed.

Nyx is a natural athlete, excelling in every sport he tries, but his true passion lies in disc. In a remarkable display of talent, he competed in his first UpDog Disc trial just three weeks after joining us and secured a commendable 3rd place in Greedy and an impressive 2nd place in Far Out!

Despite his brief time with us, Nyx has already proven himself to be an extraordinary companion. We can't wait to see the heights he'll reach and the joy he'll bring as he continues to grow with us.
